The emFONE EM-9X is a complete elevator video communication system designed to enhance passenger safety, accessibility, and serviceability. It provides live two-way voice and video communication between the elevator car and authorized personnel, together with clear in-car messaging that reassures passengers and confirms help is on the way.

The EM-9X supports live two-way voice and real-time video streaming to authorized monitoring locations, plus on-screen messaging and simple response buttons in the cab to support passengers who cannot hear or speak.

The system also provides attendant controls at the lobby console for call management, history review, and local response handling.

EM-9X is designed for 24/7 monitoring with automatic verification of the communications path and alerting on failures; monitoring stations must be staffed per local code requirements. Regular functional checks and preventive maintenance keep the system in compliance and ensure reliable operation.
